hmmmm... I don't know. I've done very minor video editing using mixcrafts video editor. I believe at the very least you could make each word happen one at a time. You'd have to manage the words on the timeline manually I think

But in Mixcraft 10 , there's a button next to the piano roll to switch to project time:

Could it be related to another hotkey mapping?

For example solo track is ctrl + L and add lane is alt+ L . Perhaps the ctrl or alt keys aren't working right. Or perhaps the Loop mode has been remapped to another key.

Did you try saving project templates so you can recall your custom setups whenever you want?

However, the audio interface settings don't change with templates - only the track and effects setup.

I see what the OP means. The lasso only selects literally what is within its bounding box. So if you only lassoed the tip of a quarter note, when you paste the section, only that tip will paste (maybe it's now a 16th note or slightly less) instead of copy the whole note that seems to be selected.
