Yeah, unfortunately it's very difficult to get realistic vibrato with any virtual instrument if it's not "scripted" in.

Chris Hein's Harmonica (requires full version of Kontakt) does this, and is extremely realistic.

Things to try:

After uninstall, go to C:\Program Files (or Programs Files x86 for 32 bit) and delete any leftover sforzando folders. I'd check the Program Data folder as well.

Try reinstalling with "Run as Administrator" to make sure it's giving everything proper permissions.

The only pan law settings I'm aware of in other DAWs allow the user to choose a different pan law. I'm not aware of any "tools" per se.
