Full Orchestra
I've been arranging orchestral pieces and been doing it self-taught. But I'd like to do it somewhat "properly".
Is there a downloadable Mixcraft project that already has all the MIDI instruments in tracks with corresponding pan settings?

How do I get headphone output?
Maybe a little OT but let me try anyway. I recently got the M-Audio 1010LT audio card and hooked up my MIDI Keyboard into it. I also use ASIO. All ins and outs are routed via this card. The out goes into an amplifier. The amp, however, does not have headphone-out. Since I'd like to arrange using hea...

Thanks. Call me OC but I really like all my VSTs (and all other files) neatly where they should be: in folders I created specifically for each file type. But, as you recommended, I'll leave the Mixcraft sounds alone. I also bought Pianissimo. Should I leave them alone as well? I'm also new to sound ...

VST Folder and file formats
Been using just the included sound in Mixcraft and would like to explore using VST downloads. For neatness' sale, I'd like to create a VST Sound folder and put all the sounds in there. I'd also like to "sweep" all the Mixcraft-prepackaged sounds into this folder. My question is, how do I r...

I'm using 4.5 build 114 which was fairly recent. Does the 116 make that much difference with the 114?

What version and build of Mixcraft are you using? Make sure you've got the latest version of Mixcraft, which is 4.5 build 116 as of this writing.

Notes become short!
Working on several instrument tracks using a keyboard controller as input device. When I play the notes, they register ok. But when I adjust the timing of some notes by sliding them in piano roll, the note suddenly becomes short. For example, when I slide a dotted quarter note so that it begins wher...

Re: Sound Disapperas
In my case, even with all tracks unfrozen, all my mixdowns (MP3 or WAV or disc burn) become silent after 3mins and a few seconds. Driving me nuts considering that I have a performance I need this cut on by next week. My PC is a quadcore with 8gb memory, 1.5terabytes of RAID0, 64 bit, so I don't thin...

Mixdown Truncated...help!
I've finished a rather complex arrangement and liberally used several orchestral instruments and voice recordings. I have a total of 15 instrument tracks and 17 audio (voice tracks). But when I mixdown to WAV, it seems to complete but when I play back, I get only silence after about 3/4 of the song....

There is no old-style midi event view in Mixcraft. I think most modern sequencers now use a piano roll style interface and allow access to events through that view. In Mixcraft v4, midi event settings and the piano roll are available in the Sound Details tab at the bottom of the screen when a virtu...

Event View?
Last time I had done sequencing was in the ancient days of a small Alessis sequencer where I had to edit each event in a tiny LCD window on a numeric keypad. So I'm used to this and trying to go back into musical arrangements.
But is there an Event View in Mixcraft?
