Re: Challenge: Publish an example of your work in a month!

Trevor - I am sitting in a plush lounge with a fine cigar and some warm Cognac enjoying the heck out of Night and Day . Great job on the vocals and nice arrangement. Good lyrics. Clever atmospheric touch at the end with the rain. I would fade out the music and let the rain go for bit and then ...

Re: Dragon Burial Ground (Sound Squire Original)

Many thanks for the comments. I played guitar many years ago but sold my Epiphone and Marhsall amp. Mistake! :x So I decided I wanted to do some stuff like this and being a computer musician a virtual guitar seemed the way to go. The guitar is Shreddage II. http://d3rzq8l4iicm8r.cloudfront...

Re: FREE audio production classes

Thank you Mark and Sam for all your videos and Mark for that PDF of Submixes & Sends. Quite helpful taking those classes and finding Mixcraft specific answers on it. Sam, you mentioned adding to that drum pop issue on your video a Transient Vitaliser. I was wondering if there are any places you...

DONE! Recording with your kids is like herding cats... http://youtu.be/bKsCDp6jTQg One of my favorites from the 80's! Great job on the cover. The absolute coolest thing is that you did this tune with your family! Awesome! Your daughter did a good job on the vocals and I like the vamping she did tow...

Re: Challenge: Publish an example of your work in a month!

Rambler40 - Freezing Tonight is awesome! Great atmospheric intro. The tune kinda reminds me of Alan Parsons Project and has that sort of groove to it. Nice mix too. Sounds very well balanced on my monitors. Very tight overall. 8) If I haven't already said it...I am loving this thread. Thanks again t...

Re: [SOLVED] Crash on Launch - Mixcraft Pro 6.1 Build 204

Wanted to update this with a solution for the archives. Was not Mixcraft! :D Turns out it was my interface. The M-Audio Fast Track C400 does not like it when USB power is cut or the host PC goes to sleep. I changed my power settings to keep USB power alive and for the PC to never sleep. Fixed! No mo...

Re: Screaming feedback? That's not good...

What kind/brand of PC did you get? Is the sound on the motherboard or a card?

I have a Gateway PC that has this problem with the front panel mic/headphone outputs. Plug it into the back and it is fine.

I think they fixed that in the last update.

- Added broader registering support.
Download it again and re-install to see if that solves the registration issue. :)

Re: that's strange-a panning problem

Make sure your returns in the C400 control panel are panned hard left and hard right.
Hope this helps. :)

Re: Keep getting error messages rendering videos

Mixcraft will automatically open the rendered video for viewing in WMP (windows media player). If you try to render again with the same file name while that video is still open for viewing you will get that error. Be sure to close WMP before trying that next render with the same file name or change ...

Re: Challenge: Publish an example of your work in a month!

gypsy - Good stuff man! I really like Just Met Love. I hear a couple of timing issues in some of the tracks (beginning of Down Home V2). So you tracked all this yourself? Drums, bass, guitar and vocals? Awesome talent! Very nice guitar tones. I am kicking myself for selling my Epiphone! Edit to add:...
