New song...

Hi, It´s been a while, hope you´re all doing fine! Here´s a new song! It´s a kind of funk/prog/rock/pop/disco-thing.... To my horror I discovered when the track was finished that it reminded me of the Swedish guitarist Janne Schaffer´s music (Abba, solo artist).... Others have also told me it sounds...

Re: Africa (Toto) Instrumental

Great stuff, outteh!

I can imagine this song was quite difficult to deconstruct and to analyze? Quite complicated rythm ptterns! You did a super job!
Merry Christmas!

Hi again,

This is a new one, molded after the same template as the last (prog, jazz, pop, rock), albeit different chords ha, ha!

Re: New song!

Hi Alex Yes we practised about 5/6 songs & I recorded as we went along. With Allan's mind I am not in the least bit surprised about his scales, they've certainly bamboozled me and a great many other musicians. My wife has told me to let you know she enjoyed your Holdsworth, in fact her kind of ...

Re: New song!

Hi Well done, brought back a few memories Allan played in our group in Bradford for a couple of years have attached a recording of him playing Blue Skies before he went to America and down the fusion route. This is from 1966, recorded at a practise in my front room. When I last saw him in Germany s...

Re: New song!

Very nice! Kept my ears busy the whole time, very clear vocals too. The drums were very good I thought, they really punctuated the guitar. Wow, it's been a while, but even longer for me lol. Keep on keeping on! Huge thanks! Much appreciated! I really appreciated your detailed comment, I worked hard...

New song!

Hi again!

It´s been a while (1.5 years I think), but here´s a new song! Sources of inspiration this time has been Allan Holdsworth, Bachman Turner Overdrive, Boston and Journey!

Re: New song

Great mix and tune as usual! What did you use for the harmonic lead on the guitar! Sounds superb! :D Hi, outteh! Thanks for your kind comment! For the harmonic pinch I used the middle position on my homemade Les Paul, and I tuned the guitar to the same chord I wanted to use. Then I doubled the harm...

New song

Hi, folks! It´s been a while, hope you all are well! This in my new song. It´s recorded in 432 hz, which works fine with bass and guitar, but was tricky with the saxophone... Acoustic guitar tuned in DADGAD, electric guitar tuned in standard tuning. Drums were wav, samples that I pasted together...i...

Recording in 432 hz! How to detune vsti saxophone? Solution found!!!!

Edit! I found that the freebee !G-snap pitch correction" allowed me to detune MIDI to 432 hz! :D Hi, all! I´m about to record in 432 hz, and with guitar and bass it´s fine. But what about, let´s say, a vsti saxophone? How do I detune that to 432 hz? I know that the sax in Kontakt is easily detu...

Sounds super! Is the sax a wav-sample or some kind of vsti?
