Yeah, it seems very odd that after 8+ years MX would delete paths all on its own... After you get everything working again and if it ever happens again I recommend quitting MX and sending Acoustica Support the log file. Also I’m guessing that you’re using an older version of MX, and not MX8 build 4...

Just got back from: Mixcraft> File>Preferences>Plug-ins>Edit VST/VSTi Folders. No path to the Toontrack folders!

No. Reason..it is only occuring in MC. Reaper has not lost my toontrack authorizations. So I was assuming it is directly related to MC.
Not so ? Not sure about any of this. Always a question of who/where when so many places are involved!

I wish. I have six toontrack probucts..then there are the add-ons. When I go to " authroazation manager" I only see serials not authorazation numbers My question is why should I be having to spend half my day re- doing all this. What could possibly have prompted this? I've been using these...

Figured it out I think. The master track has the TRack S3 on it. I didn't think that plug involved delay or reverb.

However, when I disengage it the delay goes away. never-mind....

yea, I'm 8.1 Ver. 418...I try to stay current. Well I'm pretty sure it's either extreme delay, or latency .
When I sing into the Mic.... Say.."hello" approx three seconds the beginning of the word starts to sound.

BTW same thing happens with guitar.

I've give-up searching on my system for the missing file on the Project. Decided to bite the bullet and record the whole vocal track again.... Can't remember the set-ups used. New problem, The whole project has developed a massive latency. If I open a "new project" and insert the same plug...

I'm maybe not exsplaning the situation clearly. When the project loads..it does..or did not search for a missing file for me to narrow down the location, as it had replaced the vocal with a guitar riff (that I have longe since deleted from the project) it thought was it. So if I do as you recommend ...

In the second screenshot - where are the audio files? Did you copy them with the project?
