I've bumped this thread because the issue I want to post is kind of similar. I've done a video to highlight the issue but it's too big. What's the maximum file size for video uploads? My video clip is a 3.47MB MP4, which isn't that big.

Exactly what are you trying to align? Timing, tempo?

Can't you just turn off Snap to Grid and align the two sounds, or am I missing something here?

I think I've figured it. I've set up a Performance on the Montage and labelled it Mixcraft Controller with the correct MIDI settings and zones etc. I will use that in future and see whether I get any further issues. The demo track that I added to seems to be behaving normally so will see how it goes...

I've just recorded a couple of additional basic tracks. I just checked the MIDI numbers and they're also channel 5? So the issue is that the Montage is transmitting MIDI on Channel 5? I can't see where to change the transmit channel on the darned thing. So, will setting the Montage to MIDI channel 1...

Hi, No, we don't work with them, but those plugins do generally work in Mixcraft. They're just very complex. The project you sent in had the MIDI notes themselves on MIDI Channel 5, and if your EastWest Opus instrument wasn't set to receive the notes on the channel, that would be the problem. Greg ...

Let's not get ahead of ourselves just yet. I've raised this query many times before and never got it fully resolved.

Seems to be working better. Will scrap the project and start again and see what happens. Still having issues with the EastWest libraries though. Mixcraft really sucks at handling those. Something to do with setting the MIDI channel to track 1 or something. Need to dig out the post that mentioned it ...
