You choke it!

After each open hi hat step, set the next step, then click on the little down arrow below the step. Change the volume setting to zero and checkmark the "choke previous sound" option.

Windows Media Player is very picky about its tag files. To avoid this problem, just enter something in the File Information on the MP3 settings screen when you mix down. We'll fix this problem in a future update.

I still couldn't download that WMA file for some reason, even after cuttnig and pasting the URL back together.

Are you sure you don't have the bass on your car stereo turned up too high? I suppose you could use the EQ effect in Beatcraft to ease back on the bass response.
