Re: Replacing preprogrammed sounds in drum kits (MIDI)
Hi, Yes, try the "Studio Kit - Processed" preset and see how you like that. There is no option to replace individual sounds in the drum virtual instruments. The Omni Sampler would allow you to build your own drum kit (as discussed in the other thread). Greg Let me apologize for the redund...

Re: Various issues and frustrations...
I am inching toward a better system, I think. i3 core...I did some homework and I can upgrade the processor if at some point it proves necessary. Behringer...I am stuck with this Interface for now, and the firmware and drivers are/have been the latest. I installed the 32 bit version of the software ...

Re: Replacing preprogrammed sounds in drum kits (MIDI)
I may not be conveying my question clearly. I am using an electronic kit set via MIDI, so I am using an entire drum kit pre-set in the MC library, but want to replace the kick and snare, for instance, with other samples I have loaded. Hi, What's the name of the drum kit preset you are using? Is it ...

Replacing preprogrammed sounds in drum kits (MIDI)
I have found a few sounds that I like better than the stock sounds in the drum kits in the library. How do I build up a kit with sounds I want to use and load into the library. I may not be conveying my question clearly. I am using an electronic kit set via MIDI, so I am using an entire drum kit pre...

Re: Various issues and frustrations...
Well, there are a few things that stand out to me on first read. 1. The Core i3 is intels budget processor, not top of the line. Or even middle (which would be the i5). If the processor is dual core instead of quad or more, then I will tell you that I have personally had some dual core processor ju...

Various issues and frustrations...
(GENERAL WARNINGS AND DISCLAIMERS [Humor intended]): Good morning! I have some problems going on; some are Mixcraft issues, and some are not. To be frank, I am about ready to throw in the towel with this software. No one I know uses it, and so I can't call up a buddy and ask a for a quick fix. Also...

Re: How do I import midi drum sounds (samples)?
#drumandstage Let me add to the confusion - I mean conversation. .......you can use one hits; samples; create samples from one hits, loops, or drum software like EZDrummer. Yep. To give the best answer we need a few more details. The OP stated "samples" but there could still be some misun...

Re: How do I import midi drum sounds (samples)?
Thanks guys. I'll delve into this more deeply this evening. I am looking for some good meaty drums sounds ala Phil Rudd (AC/DC) for a couple of things I am working on.
If anyone has any information on finding such files, I'd be obliges for a heads up. Much appreciated.

How do I import midi drum sounds (samples)?
First time posting, and I DID do a brief search for my question before posting. I am not happy with the limited drum sounds in the program and would like to know how to add more. Not only how to actually load them into the software, but a good source for such files in the first place, as well. Thanks!

Re: USB Interface-UMS202HD
USB is 2.0. I ALMOST dismissed your driver suggestion, as I had already confirmed that the driver was up to date, but I installed it from the link and I am up and running. Thanks!

USB Interface-UMS202HD
I am completely new to the board, and to using Mixcraft. Please bear with me. I am trying to use a Behringer UMC202HD Audio Interface (USB) with Mixcraft7 Home Studio. The only device options given to me in the software is the Microphone, which doesn't appear to be working on this laptop. I'll foreg...
