Actually, I think there is but it comes with the Waves Platinum bundle if I remember correctly. I had the opportunity to tinker with it a few months back. One of the autotune programs which has a keyboard. (Looks like a church organ) You play the notes that you want to to hear and the voice changes ...

Treat it as though you bought the disc. I have Mixcraft on two computers and store all of my files on an external hard drive so that I can go from one machine to the other. Caution though. The drive may show up as "F" in one and say "G" in another so be ready for that when access...

Yes.
You need to go into "Preferences" go to "Sound Device" and click on "Open Mixer"
In there you can adjust your latency settings.

Thanks Acoustica

Just completed my second Mixcraft album and this time I'm using Acoustica's artwork and the CD Labeler, of course. It's the cat's meow. Now with silver, inkjet printable CD's the discs look factory made. Works wonders when you transfer the Lightscribe designs over to these discs as well. I only wish...

Thanks.
I keep the drivers up to date and use the apropriate driver for each card.
I'm just wondering if Mixcraft has issues with 64 bit.
Cheers!

Some presets for "Normalize". 0dB, -03dB, -06dB etc.. Also. Take your time with it. I'll be buying the disc this time as well as the upgrade so don't want to feel like I'm missing out every time you make an improvement. Hopefully the disk will come with its own security key too. Makes it a...

Sorry Jim. The answer is no. The guys at Acoustica don't feel that they can compete with Garage Band which is free. That was their answer the last time I saw someone ask. I think the best things in life are paid for. Well, DAWs at least. If it's any consolation, I've had a lot less computer problems...

Mixcraft 4 Crashing when I hit "Record".

Hey Guys: I've been using Mixcraft offline for months now (I get more done that way) and tonight thought I'd work on this PC for a change. Mixcraft crashes about 10 seconds into recording so I uninstalled and downloaded the newest version. Same problem. Screen goes foggy and a message comes up sayin...

I'd avoid Bheringer for preamps. They are too noisy.
Not just Bheringer bashing. I love the company and own 4 or 5 of their mics, two of which I really love but while their mixers and amps may be great for live work they are not so good in a studio.

You may also want to invest in a headset.
Listen to your channel at full volume through it before recording.
Try placing your mic. at various angles and places around the room. Also avoid using any cheap fittings (Dollar store RCA cables) as they can create noise.
Love your voice.

Other than being only 16 bit, your choice of interface is probably just fine. Primarily for laptops but should work in a PC. M-Audio are fairly reliable and Mixcraft has no issues with it. The M-Audio Fast Track Pro is a bit of a favourite around here. I have one as a spare and like it too much to p...

Hi Teapot:
If it's any consolation, you're better off setting your system to "No Sounds".
Particularly when downloading audio interface drivers etc..

Maybe change the heading to something like. "Trouble with midi".
One of the experts here is bound to jump in.
In the meantime you could reinstall Mixcraft.
Cheers!

I'd go for the audio interface with either USB or Firewire.
It's simple, less wires and leaves more time for the creative process.
