Re: Mixcraft 7 And Windows 10, new crash ?
Just opening a project on desktop by clicking on it.
I can only open a project if I open Mixcraft first, then I load the project.

My mix doesn't sound the same as when I play them in Mixcraft
I also found that my mix doesn't sound the same as when I play them in Mixcraft. In Mixcraft they seems to sounds more "clean" and "defined" that when I export them (Wav 44khz, 32 bits).
I use only my soundcard for listening to a track so no audio enhancements.

Re: Group Tracks! here we go again!!
I come a bit too late here but I agree with all of you here : Grouping faders is a main features. As a better zoom on the audio. It can be a mean for Mixcraft to reach more professional that aren't after big brand like Avid, Ableton etc... There are a lot of professional that works with audio, but h...

Alright, thank you for the tips man I didn't know that about the MC's meter !
I will use the Wave Peak at the end of my chain on the Master Bus to really play with the peak.
Thank you !

Re: Mastering in Mixcraft.
Yeah, I saw that my peak level wasn't the same, I used Waves Peak.
So even if the MC's master meter will hit the red hardly it wont clip do you think ?
It will be a big a change for me to know that...

Re: Mastering in Mixcraft.
Nope it's not the same. It's my track VS one commercial track. My track is quieter than the commercial one when exporting by mixcraft. BUT when I took my track to Soundforge and normalize it + soft clipping, it became as loud as the commercial. But it was impossible to doing that for me in Mixcraft,...

Re: Mastering in Mixcraft.
Red is just metaphore to say 0db I know that color doesn't mean so much.
So I do it again :
Is this normal that my track at 0db Mixcraft is quieter than the track at 0db Soundforge (at least the 0db Mixcraft track isn't 0db for Soundforge, as if Soundforge had more headroom O_o).

Re: Mastering in Mixcraft.
Yes I'm aware of that. But always cool to have a reminder .
What I was trying to develop here is :
A track that is hitting the red of the master bus in Mixcraft is quieter than a track hitting the red of Soundforge.
Is that normal ?

Re: Mastering in Mixcraft.
You are correct - you are wrong. Mixcraft does not master tracks louder or quieter, it's down to the user. Yes of course. But why does Mixcraft hitting the red is a quieter signal that Soundforge hitting the red ? By a lot of dbs. It is because I export it in 32 bits (so more headroom) ?! But I'm s...

Re: Mastering in Mixcraft.
I've tried to do "Home made Mastering" myself in Mixcraft. I exported my mix in 44hz / 32 bits. Then reimport it in Mixcraft and Mastering it to exporting it in 32 bits. I've always found that my "mastered track" are waaaaay quieter than "Commercial mastered tracks" in ...

Re: Mixcraft 7 And Windows 10, new crash ?
I've haven't found any logtime or crash report. Anyway a new strange thing occur : - When I open a Mixcraft project (64 or 32bits) by clicking on it when it's on the desktop. Mixcraft crash the computer EVERYTIME at the end of the loading of the track. With a PAGEFAULT IN NON PAGED AREA blue scree. ...

Re: Mixcraft 7 And Windows 10, new crash ?
That's not impossible. Probably Mixcraft's Team will tell me more about it when I could send them the logfile or crashfile.
