Re: Video Recording
Mixcraft doesn't record the video, but you can import the video to Mixcraft and edit it, and mix it along with audio to a finished product. You can read some background in the manual here . So, the video camera must record the video. The real problem is in the audio part of things. You want the guit...

Re: Video Recording
I'm not sure i fully understand. You ask whether Mixcraft records video, but then you ask a question about the separate recording of guitar, vocals and video. And then, there are... apples. :P  But i think i get it. There are many ways to approach this, but it depends on about as many things. ...

Re: Bouncing vs. printing tracks
Another thing: while bouncing may broadly refer to the process of combining several tracks, it's also used in filenames created by Mixcraft. For instance, right clicking a single track and choosing 'mix to new audio track' creates a new file with the format: [bounce-track] [track#] [mm-dd-yyyy] [ID#...

Re: Stereo track exported even with "Left Channel" selected
How exactly do you export a song? How do you select the left channel only? Does the entire track play to the left or just this instrument? You could try this: copy the problem clip 3 times, right click each copy, Properties, Channels, and set each clip to a different setting; then try again to mix t...

Re: suddenly can't record new tracks anymore
Not sure if this helps, but try to run Mixcraft as an admin and see if it helps. If it helps, you should then be able to run MC normally again.

Re: 8Gb or 16Gb?
Yes, configuring a laptop's hardware is not as easy as a desktop. But swapping a 5700 rpm disk for a 7200 rpm disk wouldn't be very hard. You could therefore find a cheaper laptop that has everything you need, apart from that disk, and swap the disks yourself. But on cheaper laptops the screen often...

Re: virtual instrument trouble - mixcraft 7
I'd like to add to the confusion. :D There's a couple of things that i found while trying to replicate the issue at hand; i just added them for completeness. 1. An Empty Project Has No Tracks To remove all tracks, meaning that no audio track is inserted by Mixcraft: click the MASTER button to show t...

Re: 8Gb or 16Gb?
That's a nice peace of work; i have a similar configuration with the disks and it's a pleasure. :) I still think the video adapter is costing you too much for your needs (around $150-$200). I have a heavy secondary video card (...gaming...), and NVIDIA technology determines which of the two must be ...

Re: 8Gb or 16Gb?
Agree with Mark, and i'd like to add: if you're not a gamer, then you're paying a lot for a gamer's video card you'd never need. Better save some money there and get a HDD with 7200 RPM as i'm almost certain you will notice the difference sooner or later. The read and write speed of the HD is very i...

Re: Bouncing individual tracks on a multichannel plugin?
It depends a bit on your setup. In theory you could right click each track and then choose "mix to new audio track". I have EZ drummer and when i use the mixer that comes with it, i can send those channels to individual tracks, but they don't have the midi data. In MC6 it looks like this: ...

I don't think it can be done in Mixcraft, but am not sure. It seems there are plenty of other options. Have a look:

Re: Samasara Cycle Audio Free Plugins
Well, the faders don't work if it's OFF, because then it's in bypass mode. To use it, it must be ON and since it then mutes the track, it must be broken. I searched and found others with different DAW's where it's also muting the tracks if it's ON. I'd move on, there are already too many EQ's that d...
