Yes, I could lower it a bit.cactus-head wrote: ↑Tue Nov 28, 2023 5:37 pm Maybe undock it while using Melodyne. Then dock it when done and switch to the mixer. You should be able to shrink the mixer window a little.

Re: Melodyne Gobbling up Track View
Welp,my resolution only goes up to 1360 x 768. And the track shrinkage didn't yield great results.

Re: Melodyne Gobbling up Track View
Okey dokey. I've got to see what I can do to set up a 2nd monitor. It's getting crowded up in here.Acoustica Greg wrote: ↑Mon Nov 27, 2023 6:02 pm Hi,
The fix was for the other tabs having to be the same size as the Melodyne tab, but Melodyne has a minimum window size.

Melodyne Gobbling up Track View
We've been down this road with the mixer panel being too large and not downsizing enough. Which you guys fixed. Looks like Melodyne didn't learn anything from that experience. I tried lowering it with the drag line, but it won't budge. I can only see part of one track, and not much of it. Melodyne M...

Re: Track ending
Have you tried an external editor to cut it off at the point you want? Even if the song goes 6 minutes long, you can still crop it to desired length. Audacity, Sound Forge or any audio editor will do the trick.

Hmm. Peter Jackson's people can probably help. All kidding aside. You could try Moises. It's a stem separator that works on your desktop. Results may vary, but it could give you a fighting chance.

Re: Melodyne - manipulate question
Melodyne will work on separate clips. I do it all the time. But the whole piece style works too. Just a workflow thing. That said, there's a lot in Melodyne I don't use. Might be good for me to explore more.

Re: Melodyne - manipulate question
Are there splits in the audio clip you are editing? If so, you need to select each section separately even though it looks like all one piece in Melodyne.

Thanks. I'll mess around with it.Acoustica Greg wrote: ↑Mon Nov 13, 2023 10:24 am Hi,
When using Mixcraft's noise reduction, pay attention to the "noise print" markers. If any audio that you want to keep is inside the markers, find a different area for the noise reduction to sample.

Re: Hum removal
Acon Digital has some great noise reduction tools. Their restoration suite is very good at hum and noise removal. Thanks. It seems on par with RX. Very effective ad associated with the hum remover. Makes the point very well. https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=1&v=0-7iUkfcf8s&embeds...

Re: Hum removal
In this case, rerecording would be impossible. It was an original audio recording I made in the late 80's with a boom box of my friend driving my Ford Torino across the street with a loud muffler and hitting the screeching brakes. It fits perfectly at the end of a track, but there's the distin...

Re: Hum removal
So, I tried it and it removed the hum, however it also removed a sound I wanted in there. I think a more AI driven plugin would be able to separate it out. But I doubt a freebie will suffice. I'll keep looking.
