Re: Can't open new VST's in Mixcraft
If you haven't tried this already this is a feature that was introduced with MX7. If you know where the .dll is on your Hard Drive just drag and drop the .dll onto an open MX7 window and MX7 will automatically set up the paths for you. Considering some of the other problems you are describing this m...

Re: Slowing Down A Track
Thanks. Im not stretching too far, only to 110 percent. Once I stretch it and save it, It will stay at that speed, correct? Thank you for your help. Yep Either save the backing track as an mp3 or wave file and it will be at that speed, or save the project to reload into Mixcraft (which means you ca...

Re: Re-installing Mixcraft Pro7
Just look back at your email and re-install from the original email.
If you no longer have the email you can go here to get it back http://www.acoustica.com/cgi/getcodes.asp
Good luck with the rebuild.
Cheers
John

Install the 32-bit version of Softube and they'll work fine. For some reason the 64-bit version of those plugins is crashy.

There you go - I thought it was Softube being a bit lazy in their support!

Re: Slowing Down A Track
No. If you want the pitch to stay the same then just adjust the Time Stretch and the Pitch will stay exactly the same. The more you stretch to more "unusual" the results :) So for example if you stretch by 500% you will notice some audio "artifacts" creeping in. But at normal tim...

Re: Previous Version of Mixcraft
You can find older versions of Mixcraft here http://www.acoustica.com/mixcraft/support-older-versions.htm and they should run in trial mode. But to be honest Mixcraft 7 is the most stable and compatible version out there - I suspect that the reply from Softube was a cop out, easier to blame the host...

Hi Tom
Welcome to the forum
Easiest way (and the best!) is to select the track, click on the "Sound" tab and then adjust the "Time Stretch" option.

Re: Issues in Mixcraft 6 Pro Studio
Which drumset is it?
I am assuming that you are trying to use it to trigger the Mixcraft sounds via MIDI? Or are you trying to record the actual audio being generated by the drum kit?
The 2 approaches will have different solutions.

Re: Sending Midi Out
OK I might be completly out here (Greg chime in if that is the case!) As it stands Mixcraft cant route MIDI to other vsts or take the MIDI from a vst and output it to an external MIDI device - I beleive this is something Acoustica are looking at for V8 (fingers crassed). Now I havent tried this (if ...

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!
It would be handy to have a "Revert to Saved" option. Selecting this from the file menu would load the most recently saved version of the current project. This way I can try a whole load of weird and wonderful options (and believe me I can come up with a lot of weird options - not always i...

Hi Willcutt - welcome to the forum. Looking up the details of both bits of kit on the relevant manufacturers websites would indicate that you should be OK with Windows 8. Neither specifically have Windows 10 drivers (if you update) and in fact on the Lexicon website there is a specific message sayin...

Re: Midi Controller Issues - Jumble notes
Totally agree with Mick about trying different USB issues - cables etc. Also make sure you are using the rear USB ports if you are using a desktop system (the front ports are often internally connected by a hub! the rear ones are almost always direct USB ports). Another thing to try - and I don't kn...

Have a look at Glary Utilities http://www.glarysoft.com/ free and has a file finder and file undelete option.
Have you looked to see if for some reason your drive letters have changed? I have know that to cause problems.

and then use MIDI learn to teach it what to do - the keys would be bigger than a bluetoot keyboard. John, It'll do midi in MC with the midi learn? How do you go about that? Thanks, M Completely my fault! As I have only used the Number Pad with MIDI learn in the performance panel (where it do...
