But to be honest Mixcraft 7 is the most stable and compatible version out there - I suspect that the reply from Softube was a cop out, easier to blame the host...

Which drumset is it?

I am assuming that you are trying to use it to trigger the Mixcraft sounds via MIDI? Or are you trying to record the actual audio being generated by the drum kit?

The 2 approaches will have different solutions.
