To imstre,
For composition, I use the performance tab where you can rename the sets such as INTRO, VERSE etc

Ezdrummer has a special installer that you get from Toontrack - have you used that?

Re: No toontrack ezdrummer, ezkeys and / or ezmix in mixcraft!
I have ezdrummer + expansion packs running on MX 9 but it should not be a problem on mX8.
As I don't have ezkeys or ezmix I cannot comment.I do think that someone reported a problem recently with ezkeys but you would need to do a search.

Re: V9 Custom drum maps
Mark, I have several drummers including EZdrummer and Addictive Drums and get what you are saying and here's the but Acoustica have given us a means to create those drums - it means that we get to define what we want and Acoustica do not have to worry about supporting products and expansion packs th...

Re: V9 Custom drum maps
Mark, Thinking about what you said, I think a few tweaks to the documentation is all that is needed. Personally, I think this is the easiest thing for Acoustica along the lines of "software development should be easy" :) I think it would be overkill to supply an app or add the functionalit...

Re: V9 Custom drum maps
Mark, I hope what I have written below makes sense but if not let me know. What is a custom drum template? A custom drum template allows you to associate an individual drum instrument with a specific MIDI note. A collection of drum instruments is known as a drumkit. Mixcraft comes with a number of d...

Re: V9 Custom drum maps
To Greg, Thanks a million - all working now. I had forgotten to reset the option as you pointed out. I will create a Kayako ticket tomorrow re documentation as I think a quick note in the documentation might be useful. Mark, I shall answer your point tomorrow and hopefully it will become clearer.I h...

Re: V9 Custom drum maps
Tried a second time - in both cases midi data copied from the plugin could be played in MX9.

V9 Custom drum maps
Hi, I have a question regarding custom drum maps in Mixcraft 9. In the help file it says: Fill in the following fields and save the document: Map File The name of the file you just created, ie: “Big And Dumb Drums.txt”. VST GUID This is a special value uniquely identifying the VSTi. Open up your...

Re: Recording Playbeat VST
Robbie,
You are not the only one confused by recording. The way you have done it is pretty much what I would do with plugins such as Scaler but sometimes I just create an audio recording - depends on what I'm doing.
Anyway glad to hear (:) ) you've got sound!

Re: Recording Playbeat VST
Robbie,
I'm new to Mixcraft and I'm sure others can help you better but have you thought about arming an audio track and then recording?
Create a separate audio track.
Arm the record button red on the audio track.
Play your beat and I would expect it to record.
