I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but it seems like a good start.
Has anyone here had to jump through hoops to have cover versions they've
recorded put up on their web sites?
I've searched through a lot of sites about this and it's all very confusing.
So I'm wondering if anyone has hands-on experience with this.
thanks -- JV

Hi,
Here's what CD Baby has to say on the subject:
http://cdbaby.net/dd-covers
CD Baby has given lots of new artists a chance to make it in the music business.

Thanks, greg-
I guess I should have been more clear. I know about the cdbaby stuff
but I'm referring to having cover songs online with NO intent to sell or
allow downloads. I read that even doing that can cause some RIAA weasels
to tell you to take the songs down or pay for a license.
It sounds ridiculous to me but that's why I'm asking.
