Hi,

Windows XP recognizes zip files as "compressed folders." You can just open up the zip files and drag out their contents. Do you have XP?

It works the same in Windows Vista. Zip files are displayed as "compressed folders" and you can just drag their contents out.

Hi,

What's the name of the file you're trying to open?

You don't run install on the actual plugins, you just place them in your VST folder (after you've unzipped them). The VST folder is usually C:\Program Files\VST\. If you don't have a VST folder, you can create one and go into Mixcraft's miscellaneous (or effects in v3.0) preferences to make sure it's looking in the correct folder for the plugins.

Greg

Note: I'm going to move this thead to the Mixcraft forum, so look for it there.

Hey gyp!

If you still need a great ZIP freeware, try ZipGenius at
http://www.zipgenius.it/eng/index.php

I use it and it's ACES!

The file may be damaged. I agree with Geez, I have been using ZipGenius for years, it is awesome.
