like i said in last post - this is just screwing around w/ guitar sound - not shredding - wanting feedback on my tone & can ya guess what i'm playing through- i know it sounds like a slight flange or chourus but there's not any

i'm wanting feedback on this guitar sound - does it sound like a stack or a marshall tone - tell me what ya think it is i'd really appreciate some posts - yes theres missed notes & out of meter stuff- just soundchecking ..

Yep, sounds like a stack. Just so the rest can read it here, I'll repost what we talked about through PM.

It sounds little thin and distant. Like you have taken out the mids.

Guitar tones without mid range in them do not cut over other instruments when recorded or through a live PA system.

You said you were using a cheap mic, and that's good that you plan to get a better one. It will make worlds of difference.

But no, I cannot tell it's not a stack.

i'm buying the m audio fasttrack usb interface- for now i'm just setting the amp in front of the comp. mic & recording - i have a shure sm58 but i can't find an adapter to plug it into my comp. mic input _ the pin jack - do they even make those - i looked everywhere i've seen pics of sound cards w/ 1/4 plug in extentions - but i just paid $1200 fer a cow in a box - i'm going cheap cause we got a baby on the way & i'm on a budget
