Here's a song I wrote and recorded using Mixcraft. It was inspired by my best friend who suffers from treatment resistant depression. The talking voice is him during a particularly bad episode. The singing vocals are all me, as well as the synths and guitars.

Agree with Lenox. Reminds me of my favoruites Pink Floyd. I'm also a huge fan of artists writing songs about real life stuff and not only love... love never grew old they say...yay...
Great concept. This is where stuff gets real. Well put together and nice played . I enjoyed listening to your work.
(and for what it's worth, your friend has one more that cheer on him)

Re: Journey Unhinged
Thank you so much for your comments! This song pretty much wrote itself because it was inspired by real, and powerful, emotions.
The talking parts, though sometimes hard to hear, is really him expressing his desire to end his suffering. It was taken from a Skype call I recorded with him during a severe depressive episode (he knew it was being recorded for our podcast on mental health). I wanted to use his voice because it was so full of emotion that I felt that was the best way to add realism. Anyway, thanks again!

Very "saucerful of secrets". Needs some leveling, but I really liked it.
