Hi, again!

It´s been a while, but now I´ve managed to finish my new song called; "Ode to Laura Branigagan".

Still something wrong here...trying with that "url"-thing now...

https://soundcloud.com/lex-cox-coyne/od ... a-branigan

Ahhh, success!!! Thanks Mark!

I am sure Laura's a treat, but that link isn't......
You forgot to use the [URL} brackets so the link is truncated. 8)

Thanks a lot for letting me know! There seems to be something wrong with the editing on this page. I cpoy the path to my son on Soundcloud, and paste it in my comments here, and review first and it works ok. But when I hit "submit", the same link changes for some reason?
Well let´s try again....

Hopefully it´s fixed now!

Nope...I suspect there´s something wrong somewhere, perhaps at Soundclouds page? I will have to contact them.

Best regards/

That works!

Hey Markus, nice tune! Smooth and simple.
And dare I say possibly the best mixing effort I have heard from you so far! I'd consider a little EQ carving in the range where the bass guitar and lower range of the regular guitar mix together, it sounds like a little frequency build up there.
But very nice, you've been doing some homework!

Yes, you are right, there are some bass frequencies there that I probably should have done something about. Mixing was never my speciality, and after 35 years doing this, I still don´t know what I´m doing, but I´m learning :D
Thanks again!

This sounds great man. It has a really cool laid back vibe that gives it a cool old school feel. Nice job

Hey, what's that horn sound you used? Does it come with Mixcraft?

Hi,

I guess you are referring to the muted trumpet? It´s a free sample from Mihai Sorohan.
