Back looking for inspiration!

Hey folks.

Slightly over a year since I posted here, and I used to be a very active member.
But since then I can't even spell mujo. See? Mejo. I lost my mogo. Mohgo.
My job went down the toilet. My teenage sons began to generate a lot of worry (that's what they're for!).
I restyled the downstairs room I used to record in, got a new sofa & too many cushions, and lost my "studio" space.
I missed my mum and my sister who'd both recently passed away, and somehow when I'd channeled all these experiences/pain into songwriting/recording, it now wouldn't come...there was always something else to do.
My dad died last month. But he did get to see me married for the 2nd time this summer.
But...I miss you guys, the community here, and spending long nights with Fabfilters, Limiter6s,7s and 8s, far too much autotune, and trying to separate my mid from my side.
Somewhere in all this I paid for my upgrade to 8 ProStudio (been around since v5), now have 2 super-duper Win10 PCs, still got my Audient id14 and created a mini studio in the corner of one of my son's bedrooms.
No excuses then! lol

Gotta do this! I'll be back soon!
Check out my 'music' below, if you never ever did....

It's nearly 2.30am here in the UK, so nitey nite.

Sounds like you've been through a challenging patch. Glad you're picking the burrs off now! Hang in there.

Building a #tinyhomestudio is helping!!!! It's literally the smallest space in the house, if we had a dog they'd have more space than me here...
But, having everything easily setup all the time definitely helps, I've never had that before!
Recording a new song, and this is literally all I have...it's just Verse1 instrumentation - got more of a country/acoustic feel...
Although the entire song is written...and it's an old one I never recorded really (called "All In The Note"), I've got to figure it all out here...and MC8 too!!
That's SIGNIFICANT for me, as I've done almost nothing in 18months or so....

Good to see you here Mark!!!! thanks for waiting :-) :-) :-)

Nicky, of course you can assume if you need anything, with the song, migrating into the new version (that's not too hard) or anything at all, ya got my digits. 8)

Actually we have some things to catch up on anyway, when you get (re)settled and ready.
