Here is an album of acoustic guitar music that I did using Mixcraft 8. I used a pair of AKG P170 condenser mics in an X/Y configuration to record each guitar. The mics were aimed at 12th fret at a distance of about 5". I prefer close-miking. I used some of the Mixcraft 8 effects, but lightly cause I wanted to keep everything pretty basic. I used many different open tunings. Here is the LINK:

Great work, well done recording and mixing. This is probably one of the best acoustic sounds I've heard in a while. I'll have to try out the method, maybe invest in some new microphones.
