Hi folks, i just finished some soundtraks and i want to know what you guys think about the mixing. If you have some tips or suggestion about how to make it sound better, i would love to hear

The vsts used were from Kontakt (just free instruments) and Play (ewql symphonic orchestra)
To mix i used pultronic tube EQ and the mixcraft's pro reverb (yes, just these two)
I just finished some musics, any suggestion or tips?

Hi, listening to your tune right now. I like it alot. Very good sound. I made a few "classical" sounding songs myself. Mixing is good, right on. Balance of instruments good too. I could never use ANYTHING from Kontakt because all the links to the FREE PLAYER did not work! Could you steer me in the right direction? I would like to try the VST's you have. Do you have any more work out there?

Play around with some compression and bring down some of the high mids on the strings. Maybe bring out up the piano a bit and bring the strings down a bit. The strings sound a bit like an English horn a bit harsh.AndreasZubaran wrote:Hi folks, i just finished some soundtraks and i want to know what you guys think about the mixing. Play around with some compression because it's a bit peaky in spots.
As to the arrangement and composition I really liked it.

hi, thanks a lot
I only have those musics in my soundcloud, for now.
If you are having problens using the free player you should download an older free version in the internet, but if it does not work, try sending an e-mail to them (the kontakt support), it worked when a had a problem with another player (play 5).
There is a lot of free vsts, like the big cat ones (which are all free). Although, there is not a perfect free vst, therefore you should always search new ones in the internet (try search: "name of the instrument" free vst kontak, or just: "free vsts kontakt"). Plus, you should search free plugins too, because there are some jewels out there (last week i found a great parametric compressor).
Sadly i dont have all the links of my vsts, so, good luck with the kontak problem and if it works, search those vsts: "Big Cat" and https://www.flstudiomusic.com/2017/03/3 ... aries.html
