A jazz / blues original

Post by w1av »

I was messing around with some different scales and came across one called "blues". So I thought I would check it out. I used a MIDI keyboard and an electric fretless bass along with a big ol jazz box guitar. Drums done by a friend. I was trying to get a smokey bluesy jazzy vibe. I normally dont play blues but I thought I'd give it a shot using this scale. I lined the bass guitar in with direct box and miked the electric guitar with a condenser mic into Fender Princeton amp.

Hey Bob, that sounds great apart (from the overuse of the piano downward phrase - g,f#,f,c,d#,g,a#,c). Nice 8)
