Old Love (Clapton cover)

Clapton wrote this song with Blues artist Robert Cray. In 1988, after nine years of marriage to Pattie Boyd, Clapton divorced the model and photographer. This song documents the end of their relationship. From his Journeyman album, 1989. My take with lots of liberty, comments welcome.

Hi Tom,
I've been away from the forums for a while, but came across this tune this morning. Really nice work! Strong mix, and just the right amount of reverb gives it an almost "live" feel. Kudos for the subtle string backgrounds!Really enjoyed it..

Another great job! Kinda the same impression as the other one about maybe having some more punchy mids in the vocals. Other than that nailed it as usual!
