Driving into the Night

Hello!

Here's something new if you'd like to listen:
https://soundcloud.com/morrow-knell/set ... -the-night

This is just a small EP for fun - I am currently doing some work with strings, piano, woodwinds and such... I took a small break because I missed making electronic music.

The first track was started way back in 2010 when I first got Mixcraft - I even left the loops in throughout! I usually try to replace everything with my own sounds but these worked so well I had to leave them.

I'm not sure if any of this fits into the Outrun style, but the first two tracks reminded me of it so I went with that for the cover art.

Enjoy!

I'm not sure how similar the music will be... But Empty Streets was actually meant for this album: https://morrowknell.com/starsBC. It was supposed to be the sister track to B. Scandens 1793 (track 7). I just hadn't gotten around to finishing it in time.

Thank you for kind words, everyone. : )

I usually don't go for "electronic" but have to say:
Good composition and arrangement, the "voices" and melodic interplay makes it interesting and not overly repetitive. Good use of build-up and movement. And the mixing is top notch IMO.
Very good stuff!
