The Grind

Post by jlouvar »

Recorded with Mixcraft 8 Pro. My newest song "The Grind". It's not finished yet, but it's getting closer... (still needs vocals and I may change the guitar solo, etc) Comments welcome (good or bad), lol. Cheers

Very funky! Good stuff! This could make a popular R&B song! :D

I added a backup rhythm guitar track. I'm thinking about keeping it as an instrumental... Thoughts?

Hi,
I like it as an instrumental. Where can we hear the new version with the added guitar?

Okay thank you Myrna.
I changed/swapped it on reverbnation.

I also added some pickup drums and a drum tag.

Really well done! Very Pink Floyd´ish! Well played and mixed! What are those drums?

Thank you... I used EZD2 for the drums, and no plugins were used except for Classic Master Limiter on the Master Track.

Really like this. I can 'see' where vocals could add to it, but can also 'see' where it would be great instrumental. It has a very uplifting vibe to it and I've always liked R&B rock.
