1. You need a good driving bass for that kind of beat.
2. A good chord structure, even if only basic will also make all the difference.
3. The timing is slightly off with some of your instruments. Try bringing them in at different points during the song.
4. A few melodies and synth leads will also give your song more character and depth.

I usually split my songs into sections and weave them all together so that they don't sound too repetitive or monotonous. You've got your overall idea, it just needs expanding on. Valiant first effort.
