Wishing Well - cover

Post by ste_p0270 »

Hi Guys,

Could I have your thoughts on this please? Advise / pointers with regards to the sound? I'd like for it to be a bit
"crisper" for want of a word. I'm just using "Sharp and Wide" mastering option in MXC9 then TDR Nova / TB Barricade
to take out a bit of low end rumble and bring the volume back up a bit.

It's a friend and mines take on the old Free classic. He did the vocals, bass and bluesy leads. I did the rhythm guitars and the
"modern" lead. Bit of a contrast in styles as I'm a "metal head" and my friend is very bluesy.

Anyway, any advice greatly received. Thank you.

Edit, had a bit of a play with the mix, also ran it through Ozone 9 Elements .vst
