Hi, after many years of doing almost nothing with music I was in the mood to start with my hobby again.
So I chose Mixcraft because it was so easy to use and get some quick results.
I really had fun with it and I could finish my first song.
Mixing and mastering is something that I don't know much about so it probably don't sound very "polisched".

That was my first DAW after Audacity and before Ableton. It's definitely capable and you get some decent stuff from it. It's perfect if you use a lot of third part VSTs and libraries. I prefer Ableton now because I hate drop down menus and I have a Push as well as novation launchkeys/pads. Personally I would never go back to Mixcraft cause I prefer my workflow now, but it by no means is an amateur or unprofessional DAW.
