Hi again,
I hope you all are alright!
This song is about illusions... about how sometimes people build up expectations of us, based on an illusion about us that they have (or want to have...)!
Then they become very disappointed in us when they feel that we did not live up to their own (twisted) expectations.
But it's also a look at ourseleves ... Because these people have built up their illusions of us based on the image that we send out to them! This must mean that we ourselves, send out an illusion of us, which does not match who we really feel we are, right? Complicated stuff.....
