I don't have a studio, but here's a shot of my desk at work. Currently, I have a Yamaha Audiogram6 hooked up, but I'm going through different audio interfaces. That's a AT2020 USB microphone and a M-Audio Oxygen8 keyboard. Not pictured: Shure Beta58A microphone.

My wife says I have to "clean up" my mess before I post pictures... :P

Yeah, I had to do some quick de-cluttering before I took that shot.

I will post some pictures soon. I might go down to the "studio" tomorrow to play some piano, so perhaps I take a few shots then :)

Here's my home studio. I decided not to clean up and let it be what it is, a work/fun space.

OK here’s my setup.

It’s a small 11 X 9 foot bedroom which I claimed when my daughter moved out on her own.

The first pic shows my Vocal Station, Yamaha PSR keyboard and work bench – I setup, repair and modify guitars.

Next is the Mix and Amp area. Here I have a rack with a Behringer 12 channel mixer (overseen by my executive producer, Bongani :D ). There’s also a patchbay, Digitech vocal harmoniser, storage for my amp simulators and on the floor is an old beat up and rusty Peavey amp (brilliant jazz tone!). Next up are the bass amps (Peavey 15 inch and a Chinese 12 inch combo). Guitar amps are my beloved Fender Twin with a baby Fender reverb and a Roland Micro Cube on top of that.

And the last is "mission control". I built the desk and the two bass traps (left and right) myself. I use an Acer laptop with a dual core 1.8 Ghz processor and 4 Gigs of RAM on Vista and a 22 inch monitor. Software includes MC6 Pro Studio, EZDrummer and Garatan Personal Orchestra.

Above the monitor is my Bose Wave radio/CD player which also serves as a reference monitor. My near fields are Behringer MS16’s.

On the desk to the left is a stack consisting of a Behringer tube modelling preamp, modelling compressor and 4 channel headphone amp. Atop that is my 2 in 2 out USB interface. My usual chain is instument/mic > tube preamp > mixer > compressor > audio interface.

Below the desk to the right is a cabinet for Mic storage. I have a Behringer B1 condenser, a Shure SM 57 and 58, and a few other e-bay bargains. Under the left side are two cheap CD racks which house my effects pedals, DI boxes and other gadgets.

I estimate 75 percent of my gear was bought second-hand on e-bay. There are some serious bargains to be had out there!

I’ve just completed my setup and intend creating my own backing tracks for a lounge type duo which will hopefully see life later this year.

I don't have any photos or studio unfortunately, it's just a small netbook, an external hard drive, a Korg Triton LE88 and midi and audio cables for it. XD;
Does the job perfectly, though.

Nice Gypsy!

A good solid working mans studio - like mine. I've re-modeled twice since my pics and am planning a third. I'll re-post when I'm done.

Ps. We'll have to club in and get Eric some Windex - definitely.

bummer that it doubles as a living room most days or during normal living hours.
yeah,I've been constantly remodeling this 100 y.o. farmhouse.I was going to paint but the carpet guys showed up a day early & now I can't get anyone out of the house for a couple.
we're looking @ either buying a separate small building for my studio or a place w/ a finished basement.the housing market is not quite as bad as they say judging by the prices..

I changed my old setup because I had to remove both monitors in order to clean the CPU and I didn't like my keyboards 90 degrees to my monitors. What I ended up with is a reworked Sauder Jupiter Computer Cart.

and for those dark passages...

An added bonus is the whole assembly is on casters so easy to move for vacuuming, something that makes milady happy. :)
