MAudio selling out?
I'm hearing that MAudio has sold the company and the new company won't provide any support for the existing products/hardware. Can someone back that up please?

I'm not sure how true it is but I've heard the same thing. Doesn't surprise me though.

Hi,
M-Audio sold part of its line to Avid, so now you find drivers for a lot of M-Audio products on Avid web pages.
Not sure if that's what you're talking about, but that happened in 2012.

I encountered a forum posting about a year ago (can't remember where) concerning specifically older keyboards which will not have Windows drivers beyond 7. Their newer keyboards are plug & play. I checked for my Oxygen 8, which uses their 'legacy' drivers, and sure enough no Windows 8 drivers.
EDIT: Just did some research before putting my old Audiophile 192 up for sale. You can add that to the list of no drivers past Windows 7.
