Lemur

Post by chibear »

Anyone using lemur with Mixcraft? I have a Samsung tablet and the idea of using that with a USB cable (for $30) vs a dedicated hardware controller (for $300) is very appealing :D

BIG news here. Apple broke the IOS version of lemur with its last update. However the Android version works fine and there has been a huge price drop, so, instead of $100's for a decent hardware controller you are looking at peanuts and you can finally use your Android tablet for something other than emails and games AND have a controller configured exactly as you want.

Set up is fiddly the first time and it won't work if you miss a step. NOT an after-midnight project  I used a USB tether rather than Wifi on my Tab Pro and have it working very well indeed. The big bonus for me already is I can set up my faders to take avantage of the full screen width, so 8-1/4 in of travel, great when finesse is needed and almost impossible to find in decent priced hardware.

LOTs more to explore
