Hello!

I have been recording with mixcraft for a little while now, but I'm still kinda inexperienced. I've been recording using the Line 6 UX2 interface and it's worked pretty well for me, but I'm ready to upgrade. After looking around, I'm thinking about getting the Scarlet 18i20 interface. Are there better options? What are your thoughts?

I had the L6 UX2 also, upgraded to the Audient id14, it's 2 channel but has ADAT for 8 more with interface. I'm just a hobbyist so 2 channels is good for me but the ability to record multi channels will come in handy in the future.

So if you don't 'need' a lot of channels, you can get get an I/O that you can upgrade later. Having said that, if you go 8 right off the bat, sweet.

Yeah, I'm going for more multitrack recording. So I think the 18i20 is still my best bet. Thanks for the input!
