yamaha moxf and mixcraft
I am considering buying the Yamaha MOXF61 synth. Does anyone have experience with how the moxf synth from Yamaha works with Mixcraft. It is touted to work seamlessly with computer and daw. I want to be able to use the sounds from the moxf in Mixcraft and render a digital audio file.

Hi,
MIDI doesn't contain any audio, so if you want to use the sounds from the MOXF, and not the virtual instruments you've got in Mixcraft, you'd have to connect an audio cable to your computer and record the audio output of the MOXF. If your computer doesn't have a "line in" port, you could get a USB audio interface to make this work.
