A Must Have

Post by outteh »

With all the static and distortion issues surfacing, here’s a must have item for all! This cable tester is inexpensive and tests multiple types of cables. Behringer CT100. :D

I also recommend getting one... I bought mine about 15 years ago and it’s still working perfectly. 8) :D

No good, it'll keep me from unnecessarily getting frustrated and losing my mind before I check the simple stuff!

Have heard good things about this and always recommended, and well worth the modest price. Good call!

I use mine all the time. I do live sound for a local high school as there tech director. I check cables while setting up so I don't have surprises.
I use it in my studio when I build my cables, and check my cables when I have not used them for a while.
Works great. It helps find intermittent cable problems.

Absolutely, there's nothing worse that finding out that you have a bad cable right when you really would like it to work. And, of course, it's always at the worst possible time. Just a little investment of time to do some testing up front may not be the most fun, but finding out the hard way is decidedly worse.
