I would like to display more info on my screen and am considering upgrading to a larger(43”) 4K TV, with the corresponding video card upgrade in my Windows PC.
Would a TV (instead of a monitor) be good enough to work with? TVs are a lot cheaper than monitors.
Would 4K allow me to see more info? For example, would I see more tracks in my mixer?
4K TV as display?

Re: 4K TV as display?
I'm writing this comment from my living room looking at my 40" TV, where I sometimes use Mixcraft - there is basically no difference between a TV and a monitor for office/productivity uses.
Yes, your screen will fit more graphical elements in a given surface area if the resolution is higher.
Re: 4K TV as display?
Thanks. Your experience confirms my hunch that a regular 4K TV, which has denser pixels would work.
I don’t watch movies nor play hi-res video games so those very fast refresh rates which, I assume, make monitors cost more would not hold any advantage for me.
