Does the Pitch Automation Override the Panning Automation?

Post by DanTheSongwriter »

I was just looking through the Tips and Tricks section and saw the attached image. My question is, if I add some Pitch automation does MX9 remember that so I could add Panning to the same track? Or do I have to copy the file and apply new automation?

Thanks.

Yes, you could have both active. Try it!

Noting that you are looking at clip envelope automation- you can also automate the pan in a track automation lane. This is more common (at least in my experience.)
Stay in tune, Mark

I didn't want to botch anything the first time but I did try it and it worked great.

Thanks.
