Any tips using Acoustica Mixcraft?
I'm relatively new to using DAWs in general and I got the chance to get Mixcraft at a good deal so I went for it. I've been playing with it for about a month. Anyone that uses it have any tips or tricks that they found to be useful?

Well...
You'll have to excuse my chuckle about posting the question in a forum full of tips!
First suggestion. Read the users guide/manual.
Seriously.
By my estimate that would put you ahead of about 80% of typical users...
Yeah.
Seriously.
Next, go to the Mixcraft forum. At the top are sticky links that lead to tutorial videos.
Watch them all.
Even the ones that seem more oriented to old versions of MX.
Yep. Backwards compatible means good basic things are still available in the old tutorials.

You now score in the 85th percentile.

We also welcome random questions from those who havent accomplished all of the above. Though the Mixcraft forum section works best due to the larger participation there.
We welcome newbs, and promise to be kind.
