DJ Twist & Burn has issues running in Windows 8

I just upgraded my PC from Windows 7 to Windows 8. For the first time since the upgrade last week, I tried adding songs to mix and burn but none of the song I add appear in the list. None of the songs I select show up in the playlist. It appears that DJ T&B doesn't work properly in the Windows 8 environment. Will there be a fix to this problem?
