Connecting two VST -> how does this work?

Post by Jack82 »

Hello all,

I am using Mixcraft 7 Pro since a few days. I wanted to include the arpeggiator BlueARP as VST. It is correct installed and I can open it. However, I do not know how to link the midi signal from another instrument to the BlueARP. Does anyone have an idea how this could be done? I know, it is related to the midi input/output channels.

Would be great if you can help me how to link the two instruments!

Thanks
Jack

If you click on the piano roll on the track to open the instrument selection panel, you can add multiple instruments in the Synth column:

Make sure that the Blue Arp is the first one in the chain (at least, that's how i got it to arpeggiate). All the instruments that come after it, will be arpeggiated.

'We henceforth pledge ourselves unto the power of the Upper Air'
Doesn't that sound simply super
Zeppelin visions of the future
Of course we all know very well it wouldn't work but what the hell
