Hello Rob

In the meantime you could check out the Acoustica instrument Recorder and then edit the instrument FX for a 'Bathroom' reverb and drop the pitch 3 semi-tones.

Thanks, Harry,

The Aucoustica one is an OK sound, but I'm a bit surprised that there are not more Recorder VSTs around, unless I just have not found them.

On with the search.

Cheers

Not a big demand for them... otherwise there would be some freebies, no doubt.

I found Embertone Recorders and they are pretty good. They have some functions that make them sound like a real recorder, in fact, I sent one of my recorder compositions to a professional player of 60 years and she said it was the best she has heard.

There is a soprano, alto, tenor and bass recorders.

For $60 US, I think it's the best buy I've made.https://www.embertone.com/instruments/recorders.php

Waves has Bass Slapper, haven't tried it but it's supposed to be good. It's $69 right now but their stuff goes on sale all the time. It'll be $29 on sale soon enough.

? I think you misunderstand. We're talking about this instrument https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Recorder_ ... instrument)

Not "something that records."
