Redtron Mellotron plugins and Symphonia

Post by Ianpb »

Here are three versions of the free Redtron Mellotron, all available from Artifake Labs:
https://sites.google.com/site/artifakelabs/

Redtron SE: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IIlJjaFirSs

Redtron 400: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IIlJjaFirSs

Redtron MkV: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LRvHIHPsMww

PLUS... Symphonia, a plugin containing a large number of orchestral instruments, with a couple of articulation variations for most, and the ability to import alternative soundfonts: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gWycASF3O_Y

I also found this discussion that offers the download of 'BW-Tron', which is effectively a simpler GUI than Redtron 400, and uses a more extended list of samples: https://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopi ... 3&start=15

Symphonia is a lot of fun as well, easy to mess with too.

If you're fond fond fond of the Mellotron, my favorite, mostly because it has the best "Moody Blues" string sound, is Tapeotronic:
