Nice.

And thanks for posting those.

By the way:

Been wanting to post this for some time but couldn't remember the thread it was on. And then the thread popped up!!! LOL!!!

Anybody realise that the Sonalksis FreeG thingy "cheats" when it comes to supposed pan law??? It does NOT automatically compensate when you start panning say hard left or hard right. What is does is immediately lower the track level, if set internally, once it is placed on a track by -3dB or -6dB (depending on the internal setting). Nothing more than that.

I would recommend these two resources for snagging more free VST plugins for vocals, guitar, bass, drums and synths. Hope it helps y'all.

https://techraver.com/best-free-vst-plugins/

Some of these are pretty good and most importantly free aha.

Great Gate!!!

Evening!

I just happened upon this super sequenced gate plugin, also offers a stereo width plugin as well.

My vote for the second (after Meldaproduction's) freeware plug-in bundle for a new Mixcraft (or any DAW) owner to download is the Dead Duck Free Effects Bundle. It comes with 24 excellent effects in both 32 and 64-bit versions, everything you need, really. It fills in some gaps in the Mixcraft Recording Studio bundled FX like a Gate, De-Esser, Auto Pan, Ring Modulator, and Signal Generator, and if you want to run the 64-bit version of Mixcraft, this can help reduce your need for the built-in 32-64 plug-in wrapper.

Hmm, I downloaded the zip files, but I can't find the installer?

EDIT: Never Mind... I figured it out (dragged & dropped). :D

This free Loudness Meter is a handy tool, and it seems most classic rock albums are about -18.5.

For your Bass needs,

Bass Professor MK2
https://vst4free.com/plugin/2590/

It's a Fattener, Booster, and Bass EQ plugin, Transient switch with Mono/Stereo and other settings. Works really nice on harmonics also

Recommended for Bass guitar but can be used on a lot of other instruments. I use it for Kick, Guitar, ...even for Piano.

Test it on everything! You'll see what it can do!

Been geeking out watching reviews of this guy's stuff. Have yet to download (or sub his patreon), but there's a lot of buzz around these plugins right now.
