Hmm, I wonder why they want USPS addresses... Will a bogus USPS mailing address work too?davefk wrote:If you don't wish to use your real email address when you sign up, (In case of spam) then use 10 minute mail.

Yep, any old info is fine....I understand they want to build their business, but something free should be free without catches.

Re: Synthmaster Player is free until November
Just installed Synthmaster Player! Having a little trouble getting it to work; maybe I'm just having a dumb moment. I installed the player into the 3rd Party VST folder in Acoustica Mixcraft 8, which has worked for previous VSTs. I went into Preferences in Mixcraft and edited/re-scanned my VST folders as well. Now I can't find Synthmaster Player anywhere. What did I do wrong? Thanks in advance.

Re: Synthmaster Player is free until November
Hi,
It's best not to add additional plugins to Mixcraft's own VST folders. When I installed Synthmaster Player, it went here:
C:\Program Files (x86)\VstPlugIns\KV331 Audio\
Then I went into Plug-Ins preferences, clicked Edit VST/VSTi Folders, and made sure that C:\Program Files (x86)\VSTPlugins\ was listed there, then I restarted Mixcraft.

I appreciate the advice; that got it working perfectly. Thanks for helping me out!

I downloaded it too... Now I need to spend hours listening to all the presets and messing with them, hoping to find something I'll use, lol.
