MIDI Guitar 2 crashes when hosting a VST instrument

Post by iankinzel »

hey there,

yet another moron here trying to get Jam Origin MIDI Guitar to work in Mixcraft. i know, i know, this probably qualifies as self-harm and i should seek counseling. already on that.

anyway, the thing is, i've installed loopMIDI, and since then, I'VE GOTTEN IT TO WORK.

yes, that's right, i'll say it again: for once in my misguided idealistic millennial life, I'VE GOTTEN SOMETHING TO WORK.

just one catch...

i can only mix down to mp3 or wav while using MIDI Guitar 2's built-in piano. if i select any other instrument, if MIDI Guitar 2 is hosting any other VST thing-a-ma-jig-a-ma-bob, well...

...you get the idea.

so here is my question for you, should you choose to take it upon yourself:

:?: :?: :?: :?: :?:
how do you host a VST instrument in MIDI Guitar 2 without taking Mixcraft down with it?
