First of all I have no experience in any of this. I am just trying to set up a simple system for someone to do voice recordings and add backing tracks. Its for a hypnotherapist so he is only recording himself talking and then adding backing tracks.
I am looking for a way to add slight echo or reverb similar to the effect gotten from a DJs mic on a mixer and maybe enhance the bass on his voice.
I have tried most of the built in plugins in Mixcraft but I have no understanding of the variables involved in all the different options. Is there a simplified version or settings someone could recommend for this or even a tutorial that could explain it in laymens terms so I could work it out.
Thanks,
Fangio.
Total noob needs help to find right VST or plugin

re
Use the acoustica reverb for that, here's a quick screen shot of what the controls do.
Use a longer reverb but with less wet mix.
