Transferring Pianissimo to Another Drive

Post by balarila »

I installed Pianissimo into Drive F (my designated program disc). But this drive started exhibiting problems so I plan to transfer Pianissimo into another drive. To this neatly, I planned to uninstall Pianissimo then reinstall into the new drive. But uninstalling pianissimo displays a red window launched by UNWISE.EXE the app has been blocked for my protection. How do I uninstall Pianissimo?

Or, if it cannot be easily uninstalled, how do I transfer it into another drive?

Last I checked, Pianissimo reads a registry value to check whether it's activated.
You should be able to just move it to another folder of your choosing.

Don't forget to update your VST path if you use it as an instrument plugin.

Thanks. The problematic drive had all my program files and it’s been some time since I did a full cleanup of my PC so I just decided to reformat and reinstall everything. Long process but we’ll worth it as my 6 year old PC is humming smoothly again.
