Post by Sus »

Hi, I would like to run Pianissimo in my new DAW Presonus Studio One 4. I install it just as all other VST stuff but it doesn't appear in Studio One... Please help.

Hi,

Can Studio One run 32-bit plugins? Pianissimo is a 32-bit plugin, unless you've got the 64-bit Mixcraft version installed. If you do have that installed, it would just be a matter of setting Studio One to search the VST folder where 64-bit Pianissimo is, probably:

C:\Program Files\Acoustica Mixcraft 9\VST\Pro Studio

I think Studio One 3 was the last version to support 32 bit plugins. You might be able to use jBridge, etc. to convert it for use in 64 bit DAWs but I can neither confirm nor deny that.
Mixcraft 9 Pro Studio, Legion laptop, Windows 11 64 bit, Mackie Onyx12 mixer/interface.
